| Well, I have a job search update, and as the title suggests, it's Completely Different than what I have been doing for the past 15 years (CAD/CAM). Anyway, the new possibility: a 911 dispatcher for the Boone County Public Safety Department... Yep It's about as different as you can get... But the advantages are that with Karen possibly going back to teaching, someone will have ho be home to drop the kids off and pick the kids up from the bus, and as you know, 911 is available 24 hours a day... so I may be able to do that without having to resort to day care... which is REALLY EXPENSIVE! Also, working for a county means good benefits too! Plus, it's a bit closer! I found out yesterday that I will need to go there on Saturday for testing, so please keep me in prayer about this... |
